Concession to Customer: Tanzania's LNG Platform

Energetech Tantel integrates the gas value chain from upstream concession to downstream fuellingstation, converting East Africa's second-largest reserve base into delivered energy.

tHE OPPORTUNITY

Tanzania holds the second-largest gas reserves in East Africa at 57+ trillion cubic feet, while its industry runs onimported diesel and more than 80,000 tonnes of imported LPG annually, and six landlocked neighbours face thesame deficit. The reserves exist, the demand is structural, and the infrastructure between them is the scarce asset.Energetech Tantel is building that infrastructure from a first-mover position, with the state at the table.

Gas Concession and Supply

A strong gas concession position and long-term supply arrangements anchor the platform, secured under a development cooperation agreement concluded with the state petroleum corporation TPDC.

Modular LNG

One of Tanzania's first modular-scale LNG plants, engineered to international safety standards, deployable in phases and expandable in step with demand. Pilot going live in 2027.

Logistics

LNG Trucking and Virtual Pipelines

Cryogenic road logistics deliver LNG beyond the pipeline grid: to industrial plants, power producers, remote mine sites and corridor markets in Zambia, the DRC, Malawi, Rwanda, Burundi and Uganda.

Conversions and Fuelling Stations

Industrial boilers, generators and heavy fleets are converted from diesel to gas, and a national network of LNG fuelling stations along Tanzania's trunk routes opens the fuel to the trucking fleets carrying East Africa's trade.
