About Tantel Holdings

A Decade of Conviction in Tanzania

Tantel is a Tanzanian operating group built by US private equity investors and local operators. Present since 2017, invested with our own capital, and operating on the ground every day since. Most institutional capital views frontier Africa from a distance. Tantel took the opposite position.

Since 2017 thegroup has been acquiring, building and operating businesses across Tanzania, headquartered in Dar es Salaam, ledby Tanzanian and international executives who hold direct operating responsibility.
